It turns out the Dallas Maveircks had some competition when going after Chandler Parsons. ESPN’s Marc Stein has reported that if the Cavaliers failed to bring LeBron James back to the Cavs (Which they didn’t) the team would have went after Chandler Parsons and make the attempt at signing him. It’s probably a good thing that LeBron returned. Why? :
Chandler Parsons was reportedly the #Cavaliers guy at SF if they failed to land LeBron James

It would have been difficult to lure Parsons to come to Cleveland because we all know Cleveland isn’t a free agents dream of the team they want to play for unless the best player in the world [LeBron James] happens to be on that team.
