It looks like Kobe Bryant is going to miss a huge chunk of the NBA season again for the 3rd straight year. According to multiple media sources, the Lakers expect Kobe Bryant to miss the rest of the season with a torn rotator cuff. Kobe suffered the injury during the Lakers game versus the Pelicans.
Kobe is finishing up with team doctors now, final word still to come. Team expecting he'll miss rest of season. MORE: http://t.co/nIz4fjY5sx— SportsCenter (@SportsCenter) January 23, 2015
Kobe missed the last time the Lakers made the playoffs with a torn Achilles, missed all but 6 games last season with a knee injury, and will now be out for the rest of the season more then likely.
Kobe Bryant added some humor to the injury, but I am sure Lakers fans couldn’t find the humor.
Kobe was averaging 22.3 points, 5.6 assists, and 5.7 rebounds per game this season for the Lakers.
