Kyle Lohse Speaks on Brewers 2014 Collapse

The Milwaukee Brewers were one of the best teams in baseball last season, but with one month to go and them being a virtual lock for the playoffs, the Brewers collapsed leaving many fans and players very mad and upset about the collapse. Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Kyle Loshe expressed his frustration on the season, as he was asked about it at Brewers spring training as pitchers and catchers reported today for them.

“Hopefully we have a group of guys that are pissed off about the way things ended,” Loshe said. “We had an excellent 4.5 months. I’m still pissed. You don’t get many opportunities to get to the playoffs. When you have it that close, it should help drive you. Let’s learn from it and not let that happen again.”

Loshe could potentially be the Brewers Opening Day starter, after the Brewers traded their usual starter for the game in Yovani Gallardo. Loshe went 13-9 with a 3.54 earned run average and 141 strikeouts in 198.1 innings of work in 31 starts.
