Jordan Spieth on British Open: “I still believe I can win this tournament”

Jordan Spieth has sure made a name for himself in 2015, hasn’t he?  The twenty-one year old Spieth has won both The Masters and the U.S. Open, and if he wins the British Open, he will need the PGA Championship to complete the grand slam, something that Jack Nicklaus, Tiger Woods, Ben Hogan, Gary Player, and Gene Sarazen are the only ones to do in the Masters Era.

Spieth is confident that he can win the British Open and make the run at the grand slam, as well.

“I still believe I can win this tournament,” Spieth said.

“I need a really solid round [Sunday], though,” Spieth added, “because Dustin is not letting up. He’s the only one I can speak of, he and Hideki [Matsuyama] because I saw it first hand.”

Spieth has earned nearly nine-million dollars in winnings this during 2015, and he certainly is going to look to keep it going.
