Jags’ Thomas out 4-5 Weeks With Finger Injury

The Jacksonville Jaguars made a big signing during the off-season, signing tight end Julius Thomas to a five-year deal with $24 million of the deal guaranteed. Nothing comes easy for the Jags, though, as they will likely be without their tight end for a little over a month.

The second opinion could reveal that he could miss less time, but it is likely that he still misses the 4-5 weeks with the torn tendon. Thomas suffered the injury while attempting to catch the pass in a Jaguars pre-season game, and caught 43 passes for 489 yards and 12 touchdowns last season with the Broncos.
