In his first year with the Astros, Hinch has shown himself as a better manager from his time with the Arizona Diamondbacks. Hinch has turned a young Astros team led by George Springer, Carlos Correa, Dallas Keuchel, Jose Altuve, and others into contenders in the American League. As of now, they’ll have to play in the wild card game to make the divisional series, but Hinch will still take the award.
