MLB Award Predictions With One Week to go in Regular Season

On Sunday, every MLB team will wrap up their 2015 MLB regular season. That means it’s time to talk about the award races that are close, and some that aren’t.

From the MVP awards all the way to Manager of the Year, the races are tight. Who is going to win it all in the end is the question? Let’s get right into the predictions.

American League Manager of the Year: A.J. Hinch, Houston Astros

In his first year with the Astros, Hinch has shown himself as a better manager from his time with the Arizona Diamondbacks. Hinch has turned a young Astros team led by George Springer, Carlos Correa, Dallas Keuchel, Jose Altuve, and others into contenders in the American League. As of now, they’ll have to play in the wild card game to make the divisional series, but Hinch will still take the award.
