Michael Brantley (Shoulder) Shut Down for Remainder of 2015 Season

USA Today Sports

The Cleveland Indians are out of the picture to make the playoffs this year, so they are going to give their star players some much needed rest. Starting with star outfielder Michael Brantley.

A MRI revealed that Brantley has inflation in his right shoulder, so he received a cortisone shot for the shoulder, and will be shut down for the Indians final week of baseball.

Brantley has also dealt with injuries to his left shoulder throughout the season, but still managed to hit .310 with 15 home runs, 84 RBI, and 15 stolen bases.
