The New York Knicks signed guard Arron Afflalo to a two-year $16 million contract over the Summer, giving the team a shooting guard that can score effectively around star Carmelo Anthony.

Despite being in the NBA for eight years already, Afflalo is still just 30 years old, and the Knicks are his 5th NBA team in those eight years.

If all goes right, the Knicks will be his 5th and final team, according to Afflalo.

From ESPN:

“I want to finish my career here,” Afflalo said. “Having a good young player and a winning team should help us get other guys.” Afflalo has a player option for next season, so can choose to continue his career in New York for 2016-17 if he so chooses.

Afflalo is averaging 13.2 points, 2.1 assists, and 3.7 rebounds per game in 10 games for the Knicks so far this year. He scored 31 points for the Knicks in their 116-111 loss to the Rockets on Sunday night.
