“It’s been an incredible career man,” Woodson said. “It goes beyond words. You know I never intended on playing as long as I have. But it’s the way that it has happened.”
Woodson is one of the few players in NFL history that have been to the Pro Bowl in three separate decades, making the Pro Bowl a total of eight times over his eighteen-year career.
In addition to the Pro Bowl, Woodson was named the NFL’s Defensive Player of the Year in 2009 with the Packers, and is the only player in NFL history with at least 50 interceptions and 20 sacks.
As for 2015, Woodson currently has 65 tackles, 1 forced fumble, 9 pass deflections, and 5 interceptions on the year. Those five interceptions rank 6th in the entire NFL.
It’s been one great career, Charles Woodson.
