Jordan Spieth Tops Tiger Woods as Golf’s No. 1 Earner

Jordan Spieth had himself a year on the golf course in 2015.

But, you already knew that. What you didn’t know was that his off the course year was also very kind to him, in terms of money.

According to Golf Digest, Spieth was Golf’s number one earner in 2015, topping of course Tiger Woods who held the spot for the last 13 years:

Spieth earned more than $53 million on and off the course to lead the GD50. At more than $48.5 million, Woods fell to No. 3, behind 45-year-old Phil Mickelson¬†and ahead of Rory McIlroy, 26. Arnold Palmer, golf’s most enduring cash machine at 86, is No. 5.

Spieth won The Masters and the U.S. Open in 2015 while finishing 2nd in the PGA Champonship to Jason Day. Spieth also finished fourth at The Open Championship, which was won by Zach Johnson.
