Report: Aaron Rodgers Had Knee Surgery Following Packers’ Playoff Loss

We all knew something wasn’t right with Aaron Rodgers this year.

While the two-time NFL MVP still had a touchdown-interception split of 31 touchdowns to 8 in the regular season, his 3,821 passing yards were the lowest total amount in any of Rodgers’ full starting seasons since being named the Packers starter.

Many suggested that Rodgers was off because of missing Pro Bowl wideout Jordy Nelson. That was evident when he was over shooting deep bombs down the field that some say Nelson would have hauled in.

Now, as the Packers season has been over for over a week now, we are just finding out that Rodgers underwent surgery on his knee. It was considered a ‘minor procedure’ and a ‘clean up of an old injury.’ Rodgers is expected to be ready for Packers off-season program, which starts in April.

Rodgers reportedly told Jason Wilde and Rob Demovsky of ESPN that he is ‘doing well.’ Rodgers recently pulled out of the Pro Bowl, and now we know the official reason why.
