Eagles Agree to Two-Year Deal With QB Sam Bradford

USA Today Sports

We all remember the Nick Foles for Sam Bradford trade that went down last off-season, a trade that sent Foles to the Rams and Bradford to the Eagles.

Bradford was scheduled to be a free agent this spring, but the Eagles are locking him up until 2018, according to the Eagles’ official Twitter page.

Bradford will be paid a total of $36 million over the next two seasons, making his average salary in 2016 and 2017 $18 million. $26 million of Bradford’s contract will be guaranteed. His career earnings will go up to $114 million if he receives the full payout from the team.

Bradford for threw 3,725 yards and 19 touchdowns last year for the Eagles, playing in 14 games for the first time since 2012.
