Packers Reach Deal With First Round Pick DT Kenny Clark

Mark Hoffman/Milwaukee Journal Sentinel

Kenny Clark and the Green Bay Packers agreed to terms on a four-year, $9.3 million deal  with $7.1 million guaranteed Friday, helping Green Bay complete their 2016 draft class.

Clark was the 27th overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft by the Packers as a nose tackle out of UCLA. Prior to today, Clark was one of five players drafted in the first round to not be signed to a contract yet Joey BosaDarron Lee, Will Fuller, and Joshua Garnett are the remaining first rounders not under contract.

“I feel good about where I’m at, I feel good about the playbook and I feel good about everything,” Clark said before minicamp practice on Thursday. “I feel like I’m in a pretty solid spot right now.”

During his UCLA career, Clark recorded a total 159 career tackles with 6.5 sacks. He is expected to help fill a void left by B.J. Raji at nose tackle for the Packers.
