Trevor Siemian Exits Game vs. Bucs With Injury, Replaced by Paxton Lynch

The Denver Post

Denver Broncos quarterback Trevor Siemian was recently just carted off the field with a injury to his non-throwing shoulder after being sacked by Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive tackle Clinton McDonald.

Paxton Lynch, the Broncos 1st round pick in the 2016 NFL Draft was brought in to replace Siemian, who is now back on the sideline with his helmet on but still not in the game. It looks like Gary Kubiak will let it ride out here with Lynch at quarterback.

Siemian is 5-of-7 on the day for 68 yards and a touchdown. Lynch is 8-of-14 for 85 yards with the Broncos moving the chains right now.

We will update you on Siemian’s status as the game continues to progress.
