The 2014-2015 college basketball season has been quite the excitement once again this year. From Kentucky’s perfect record thus far, to the usual major upsets of top ranked teams. What has been some of the surprises of this years college basketball season? We break it down.

The Florida Gators were ranked 7th in the preseason AP Polls. Where are they now? They are 12-10 and 8th in the SEC. They have a must win game this Saturday against Kentucky. If the season ended today, the only tournament they would be playing in is the NIT

Last year, the fighting irish were 13th in the ACC and had an overall record of 15-17. This year has been a very different story, they are currently ranked 10th in the AP top 25
