This NBA season has been full of lots of surprises, and I’m sure there are many more in store. We have seen some of the smaller name coaches last year become great coaches and have seen a MVP year from many players not expected to contend for the award. But here is what I consider the 5 biggest questions that time will tell the answer to.
1. Will the Hawks keep consistently winning?

The Hawks have been the biggest surprise of the NBA season. No one thought they would be 43-11 at this point in the season. Everyone wants to know if they can win in the playoffs without a big name “superstar”Will the Thunder make the playoffs and if so, how far will they go?
2. Will the Thunder make the playoffs?

The Thunder are currently 1.5 games out of the playoffs. While they are not very far back, you never know what will happen in the western conference. Even if they do make the playoffs, would they be able to beat a team in the first round like Golden State or Memphis without home court advantage? I think they could because they won 2 road games in Memphis last year in the playoffs.
3. Will the Spurs repeat?

People aren’t taking the Spurs very seriously this year, most people forget that they are still the defending champs. They are currently 7th in the West, most of that has to do with the injuries they have had to deal with. I’m interested to find out if they have one more run to the finals left in them.
4. Will James Harden win MVP, and if so will he be considered a superstar?

James Harden is currently averaging 27 points 7 assists and 5 rebounds, the Rockets are currently tied for 3rd in the Western Conference. So as of now, he is probably the frontrunner for league MVP. Some reasons people use to why he isn’t a superstar are “he doesn’t play defense or “he gets a lot of his points from the free throw line” I wonder if he wins MVP, will he be considered a superstar?
5. How far will the Warriors go?

The Golden State Warriors currently have the best record in the NBA. But can they really win the western conference? I think it depends to a couple of things: 1. Will Bogut (there defensive presence inside) stay healthy? 2. Can they consistently make their shots in the playoffs when games slow games slow down? All of this is yet to be determined.
