On June 19, in a game versus the Tigers, New York Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez picked up his 3,000th hit with a home run off of Justin Verlander.
Today, the New York Yankees honored that milestone, as they continue to mend their relationship by receiving a crystal trophy and ring for reaching 3,000.
