A-Rod Receives 3,000th Hit Ring From Yankees

On June 19, in a game versus the Tigers, New York Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez picked up his 3,000th hit with a home run off of Justin Verlander.

Today, the New York Yankees honored that milestone, as they continue to mend their relationship by receiving a crystal trophy and ring for reaching 3,000.

Rodriguez netted two hits and a run batted in, helping the Yankees take the series finale from the Blue Jays 5-0. He is now batting .256 on the season with 31 home runs and 81 runs batted in for the Yankees.
