“Aaron Rodgers broke another record yesterday, I am so shocked!” This is probably something you didn’t hear or see anyone say.

The Green Bay Packers superstar quarterback became the fastest player in NFL history to reach 30,00 passing yards in the 4th quarter with a 12-yard completion to Eddie Lacy. He became the 40th player in NFL history to reach the 30,000 yard mark plateau in addition to being the fastest.

Rodgers hit 30,000 career passing yards in 3,562 attempts, beating out Johnny Unitas out for the fastest at 3,695 attempts.

Rodgers threw for 255 yards on 29 attempts and completion 16 passes for 2 touchdowns in the Packers 27-20 win over the San Diego Chargers on Sunday afternoon. It’s likely that Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan will be next to join the 30,000 yard club as he is just 83 yards away.
