Allen Iverson Interested in Front Office Role With 76ers

“The Answer” could be looking to be the potential answer to the 76ers problems, as in a recent interview with a Philadelphia television station Iverson said he would like to have a front office with the 76ers some day. Iverson was drafted by the 76ers with the first pick in the 1996 NBA Draft and played two separate stints with the 76ers. (1996-2006. 2009-2010).

“I would like to be even in that war room,” Iverson said. “Even if they don’t go with my decision or whatever, just to have an opinion and putting out what I think and trusting the organization to do what’s right.”

Iverson’s number three currently hangs in the rafters at the Wells Fargo Center, and if Iverson lands the front office gig, hopefully he can get a ring out of it after coming up short in 2001.
