Stoudemire split time between the New York Knicks and the Dallas Mavericks during the 2014-2015 NBA season. He finished the season averaging 11.5 points, 5.6 rebounds, and .6 blocks per game in 59 regular season games. He is expected to be a key piece to a Heat bench that is getting stronger and stronger everyday as the off-season goes on.
It was rumored yesterday that the Heat and Stoudemire were nearing a deal and that they would be meeting again tomorrow to discuss the deal. That is exactly what happened.
