Anthony Davis Frustrated With Pelicans’ 0-4 Start

The New Orleans Pelicans dropped to 0-4 on the 2016-2017 season last night, losing to the Milwaukee Bucks 117-133, despite yet another outstanding performance from star power forward Anthony Davis.

Davis poured in 35 points while grabbing 15 rebounds and dishing out 2 assists , bringing his season averages to video game-like numbers of 37 points, 13 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game.

It’s been a struggle for Davis’ Pelicans teammates, however, as they are missing Jrue Holiday and Tyreke Evans both due to different situations. Davis has already admitted to being frustrated this early in the season:

“Definitely frustrating,” Anthony Davis said, per to ESPN’s Justin Verrier on Tuesday night. “We can’t get a win. It’s frustrating.”

New Orleans will play four of their next five games on the road, with their best chances of winning coming on November 4 against the Suns in New Orleans, and November 8 against the Kings in Sacramento.
