The New Orleans Pelicans suffered a huge scare on a great play by their franchise player Anthony Davis. In tonight’s Chicago Bulls-New Orleans Pelicans game, which the Bulls won in a blowout 107-72, Anthony Davis caught an alley-oop from teammate Tyreke Evans and threw down a huge jam. However, Davis was hanging on the rim after the alley-oop dunk, and fell of landing hard on the ground right on his right shoulder.
According to the Pelicans, x-rays were negative on Anthony Davis and he was diagnosed with a right shoulder contusion.
Davis had 8 points, 5 rebounds, and 1 block prior to the injury in 13 minutes. Davis also stayed in the game for a short period of time.
