The Astros have added one of the best relievers in the game in Luke Gregerson and Pat Neshek, who came off an all-star year with the St Louis. Cardinals that was a shock to the rest of the baseball world. Gregerson will become this 3rd richest reliever this Major League Baseball Winter as the Astros will pay him 6 million per year.

The Astros weren’t done with just Luke Gregerson. The team also beefed up their bullpen a bit more:
As @BNightengale has reported, Astros made a midnight raid on the relief market, agreeing to terms with Luke Gregerson and Pat Neshek.

Both of these guys can close games if they are needed to as the Astros are looking at getting some vertran presence in the bullpen to insure that they’re able to shut down games when their young offense and pitching staff give them leads to play good.
