Sam Dekker was playing NBA 2K15 with three-point sliders up today. With the Badgers down 33-30 at the half to the Arizona Wildcats, the Badgers outscored the Wildcats 55-45 in the second half Frank Kaminsky and Sam Dekker were a two man show tonight, as the Badgers are headed to their second straight Final Four in Indy, beating Arizona 85-77.
Sam Dekker had 27 points, which came off of five three pointers. Dekker improved his career high by four points with his 27, as he scored 23 in Wisconsin’s last game versus the Tar Heels. Frank The Tank Kaminsky. What else does he have to show us? Well, he may have solidified his Wooden Award with 29 points and 6 rebounds, as he was the Wildcats worse nightmare yet again. Josh Gasser was the only other Badger to score in double figures with 10 points, 2 rebounds, and 2 assists in Wisconsin’s Final Four clinching win.
Rondae Hollis-Jefferson left it all on the line in this game, but his effort wasn’t strong enough, but he still had 17 points and 8 rebounds in the game. Brandon Ashley also had 17 points, and grabbed 4 rebounds. T.J. McConnell had 14 points with 5 assists and 2 steals, Kaleb Tarczewski and Gabe York both added in 11 points in the loss as well.
The Badgers, (35-3) are headed to the Final Four for the second straight year, and will take on the winner of Notre Dame-Kentucky. If Wisconsin plays Kentucky, it’ll be the second straight year they both meet in the Final Four. The Wildcats, (34-4), are headed home as their season is now over.
