Ben Simmons Lights up Vanderbilt for 36 Points in First Ever SEC Game

The best player in all of college hoops was at it again last night.

Louisiana State’s freshman forward Ben Simmons poured in 36 points on 10-15 shooting to go with 14 rebounds and 4 assists, giving LSU the 90-82 win over Vanderbilt, making them 1-0 in SEC play to start the year.

LSU is now 8-5 on the year, and Simmons is averaging 20.5 points, 13.1 rebounds, and 5.4 assists per game.
