Cincinnati Reds speedster Billy Hamilton hasn’t been in the Reds lineup since September 16th due to a shoulder injury, and it will lead to his season being over, reports C. Trent Rosecrans of the Cincinnati Enquirer.
According to the Reds, there is no structural damage in Hamilton’s shoulder, and he should be ready to go for the Reds come spring training.
While Hamilton swiped a career-high 57 bases this year, his bat has not reached the Major League standard. He is finishing the 2015 season batting just .226 with 4 home runs and 28 runs batted in. If he finds his swing, he will be more fun to watch.
