As most of us expected, small forward Brandon Ingram has committed to Duke university and will play for the team next season. Ingram chose Duke over North Carolina, Kansas, Kentucky, UCLA, and North Carolina State. Ingram is the fourth five-star player in Duke’s recruiting class.
Ingram will replace Justice Winslow in Duke’s starting lineup. Ingram will play alongside point guard Derryck Thornton, sharpshooter Luke Kennard, and center Chase Jeter. Ingram will come in as one of the youngest players in college basketball, as he doesn’t turn 18 until September. Ingram was also from the North Carolina area, which might have helped his decision to go to Duke even more.
