The Milwaukee Brewers have been bitted by the injury bug this year. Reliever Jim Henderson remains on the disabled list with catcher Jonathan Lucroy. Scooter Gennett, Ryan Braun, Aramis Ramirez, Carlos Gomez, and many others have also had injuries this year. The Brewers have placed Jean Segura on the 15-day disabled list due to a fractured thumb suffered in the Brewers’ 4-2 loss versus the White Sox yesterday.
The club confirmed the news earlier today:
SS Jean Segura has been placed on the 15-day disabled list with a fractured right fifth (pinky) finger, retroactive to 5/13.
