Browns Place CB Joe Haden on IR With Concussion

It’s been another rough year for the Cleveland Browns.

It was also a rough year for star corner Joe Haden, who will only get to play five of the Browns 16 regular season games due to a concussion:

“This has been an extremely difficult season for me personally,” Haden said in a release to the press. “It’s upsetting that my year has ended this way. I really want to be out there with my teammates trying to help finish this season strong and on a positive note.”

Haden has also been battling rib injuries and a broken finger alongside the concussion, causing him to miss several games in addition to his season ending injury.

“We’ve all learned how important it is to be very thorough with concussions and I appreciate the care the Browns have provided for me. Although, I haven’t been able to clear protocol the specialist I have met with have told me they expect a full recovery. I’m looking forward that, returning to form, having a good offseason and an even better 2016 season.”

Haden finishes 2015 with 22 total tackles, 2 pass deflections, and 0 interceptions.
