Larry Sanders hasn’t played for the Bucks since December 23rd, and on January 5th he told the Bucks that he didn’t want to play basketball anymore. Sanders received a suspension from the NBA that was worth 10 games due to violating the league’s anti-drug policy. It appears that the Bucks are now done with Sanders, as they are looking to buy him out of his contract.
Larry Sanders is considering taking buyout from Bucks, according to sources. He's undecided if he'll take it, but it's being discussed.

The Bucks signed Sanders to a 4-year 44 million dollar extension back in 2013. Coming off a season where he blocked virtually everything, he has not lived up to the standards of the contract, as he has been injured and suspended throughout the course of the deal.
Sanders is currently averaging 7.6 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 1.4 blocks per game in 27 games this season with the Bucks.
