Bulls’ Pau Gasol Will Continue to Play Through Injuries

Chicago Bulls big man Pau Gasol is currently battling a sprained shoulder and a sore Achilles injury, and with Joakim Noah set to miss the next 4-6 months with a shoulder injury, the Bulls may be worried about Gasol going forward.

As for Gasol himself, he isn’t too worried:

“I like to push it until the wheels fall off,” said Gasol. “Hopefully, it won’t get worse.”

Gasol didn’t play in the Bulls’ 116-111 win over the 76ers, but he looked much better versus the Mavericks, scoring 17 points with 8 rebounds and 4 assists while shooting 50% from the field.

Gasol is averaging 16.3 points, 10.8 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 2.2 blocks per game for the Bulls this year.
