Carmelo Anthony Passes Larry Bird for 31st on NBA’s All-Time Scoring List

We all know that Knicks star Carmelo Anthony knows how to the score the basketball. He is one of the best scorers in the NBA today, and he showed why he is also one historically.

Anthony poured in 30 points to go with 7 rebounds and 9 assists to lead the Knicks past the Jazz 118-111 in overtime. Those 30 points helped Melo pass Celtics legend Larry Bird for 31st on the all-time scoring list:

Up next on the all-time scoring list after 31? Gary Payton, Clyde Drexler, and Elgin Baylor. Anthony ranks 8th among active players on the scoring list, behind Vince Carter, LeBron James, Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, Tim Duncan, Dirk Nowitzki, and of course, Kobe Bryant.

Anthony is averaging 21.5 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 3.9 assists per game for the now 22-22 Knicks so far this season.
