After being traded by the Oklahoma City Thunder to the Utah Jazz, the rumors about where Kendrick Perkins were land were swirling, because the Jazz were going to buy Kendrick Perkins out of his contract. So, they did, and according to Yahoo Sports’ Adrian Wojanrowski. Perkins will add to the lack of depth the Cavaliers have at center.

Perkins is currently averaging 4 points, 5.5 rebounds, and .7 blocks per game this season in 51 games with the Thunder that included 3 starts.

The Cavaliers center position now shapes up with Timofey Mozgov, Tristan Thompson, Brendan Haywood, and now Kendrick Perkins. The Cavaliers starting center coming into the year in Anderson Varejao suffered a torn Achilles a couple of months ago.
