It appeared that Miami Heat star Chris Bosh was ready to go for the Three-Point contest tomorrow and the All-Star game on Sunday, but in shocking fashion, Bosh has dropped out of All-Star Weekend due to a strained calf muscle:

Atlanta Hawks big man Al Horford will fly to Toronto to replace Bosh on the team, as Horford will be making his fourth All-Star team, joining teammate Paul Millsap.
“I am honored to be selected to participate in All-Star Weekend festivities & will still be here to support my fellow East All-Stars,” Bosh said.
As for the Three-Point contest, Blazers guard C.J. McCollum will replace him. McCollum is the favorite to win the NBA’s Most Improved Player Award, as he is having a career year in his first chance to really play in Portland.
Bosh is averaging 19.1 points, and 7.4 rebounds per game this year. He is expected to be ready for the Heat’s next game on February 19th versus the Hawks.
