Right after the Heat get some of their best news of the season, it’s followed up by bad news. According to multiple media sources, Miami Heat forward Chris Bosh could miss the rest of the season with blood clots in his lungs. Bosh was taken to a hospital in Southern Miami yesterday, and underwent tests.
Heat head coach Erik Spolestra spoke on Bosh’s health this morning, and confirmed he was at the hospital for most of yesterday.
“Our main thoughts are with CB and his health right now. He’s in good care and spirits. It’s too early for any speculation. He’s in good care and spirits.”
Spolestra confirmed Bosh’s blood clots are not life threatening.
“And that’s the most important thing.”
Chris Bosh’s wife tweeted out that Bosh was in good thoughts.
Bosh is currently averaging 21.1 points, 7 rebounds, and .6 blocks per game in 44 games with the Heat this season. We wish the best for Bosh and his family during this rough time for them.
