After it was reported that Chris Bosh was likely to miss the rest of the season yesterday, the Miami Heat confirmed that all-star forward Chris Bosh will indeed miss the rest of the 2014-2015 NBA season due to blood clots in his lungs. Bosh was experiencing chest pains on vacation in Haiti with Dwyane Wade during the NBA’s all-star break.
Bosh was averaging 21.1 points, 7 rebounds, and .6 blocks per game in 44 games this season with the Heat. The Heat are expected to be more aggresive in the free agency market due to Bosh’s condition, and guys like Chris Andersen and Udonis Haslem will have to take big strides.
