The Milwaukee Bucks are now sitting at .500 on the season at 34-34, making them 4-13 since trading Brandon Knight. The Bucks lost to the Spurs 114-103 tonight as the Spurs redeemed themselves after their surprising lost the New York Knicks last night. The duo of Tony Parker and Tim Duncan did it yet again, as the duo combined 34 points, 7 rebounds, 9 assists, and 3 blocks as they were the leading factor in the win.
Danny Green had 20 points shooting 7-16 from the field with 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Kawhi Leonard was effective as well, as he had 14 points and 4 assists. Boris Diaw had a big game off the bench, as he had 18 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists in 31 minutes of action. Marco Belinelli had 11 points on 2-9 shooting.
Giannis Antetokounmpo had a near double-double with 19 points and 9 rebounds in the losing effort for the Bucks. Ersan Ilyasova had 17 points with 6 rebounds, Micheal Carter-Williams had 11 points and 6 assists, Khris Middleton had 15 points, and Jerryd Bayless had 12 points and 3 assists off the bench in 24 minutes of action.
The Spurs, (42-25), continue their road trip as they will head to Boston to take on the Celtics on Friday. The Bucks, (34-34), will start a one game road trip to take on the Nets in Brooklyn on Friday before heading back home to the BMO Harris Bradley Center to start a four game home stand versus the Cavaliers, Heat, Pacers, and Warriors.
