Darko Milicic to Give up Basketball to Purse a Boxing Career

The man taken after LeBron James and before Carmelo Anthony, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh in the 2003 NBA draft, has decided to give up on his  basketball career and will now purse a career in boxing, Milicic was a bust unlike most of 03 draft picks as he averaged 6 points per game with 4.2 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game. Millicic was taken by the Pistons at number 2 which as we all well known was a terrible pick as I am sure the Pistons would rather have Carmelo Anthony.

Millicic last appeared in a NBA game in the year 2012 with the Boston Celtics at age 29. Millicic is set to sign a contract with a boxing company on Wednesday.
