DeMarcus Ware Listed as Probable for Sunday Night vs. Packers

DeMarcus Ware did not play in the Broncos game versus the Cleveland Browns due to a back injury.

The injury to Ware came at a good for the Broncos, as they had the bye week coming up after the Browns, and the expectation was that Ware would then play Sunday night versus the Packers.

That’s what is going to happen, as Ware is listed as probable for the showdown.

Per Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk:

Broncos rookie pass rusher Shane Ray is out for a while with a knee injury, but veteran quarterback chaser DeMarcus Ware could be closing in on a return.

Ware, who left the win over the Raiders with back spasms, missed the pre-bye-week win at Cleveland. With some extra time to heal, Ware was able to practice Wednesday on a limited basis.

Ware has 16 tackles and 4.5 sacks so far this season.
