DeMarre Carroll says Kyle Korver Will be out 4-6 Months After Ankle Surgery

We already knew that Atlanta Hawks sharpshooter Kyle Korver would be out for the remainder of the playoffs with an ankle injury he suffered in game two of the Eastern Conference Finals. What we didn’t know is if he needed surgery, and how long he would be out for.

According to Hawks small forward DeMarre Carroll, Korver will need surgery and the surgery will keep him out for 4-6 months.

“I really didn’t see too much, but then I looked at the replay,” Carroll said. “I just seen Dellavedova diving. You know, he did it to Kyle. He’s one of our starters and he gotta have surgery, he’s out 4-6 months. And he did it to Al. I think Al said, ‘Enough of this.’ And he did what he did.”

The Hawks are currently down 3 games to none in the Eastern Conference Finals to the Cleveland Cavaliers.
