Derrick Rose Expected to Return vs. Magic

The Chicago Bulls are officially back to full strength, as it appears star point guard Derrick Rose will return from a torn meniscus that kept him sidelined for 20 games tonight as the Bulls will take on the Orlando Magic in Orlando. Rose hasn’t played since February 23rd due to the meniscus injury. Rose spoke on his anticipated return earlier today.

“I’ve been putting a lot of work in, busting my ass to get back,” Rose said. “I’m just happy that I’m able to come back to a team where I think we’re playing all right basketball. I think defensively we’re playing good. Offensively, I shouldn’t have to worry about it, just come back and play the way I normally play.”

Rose is averaging 18.4 points, 5 assists, and 3.1 rebounds per game in 46 games with the Chicago Bulls this season.
