The deadline for franchise tagged players to sign a new deal was four eastern today, and the Cowboys and Dez Bryant were able to reach a deal worth 70 million over five years according to various sources surrounding the NFL. Bryant announced earlier on Twitter that he would be skipping camp and some regular season games if a contract was not reached.
Dez Bryant and the Cowboys have agreed to a 5-year, $70 million contract with $45 million guaranteed. Not signed but will be shortly.

Todd Archer of ESPN also informed us of Bryant’s signing bonus, which was 20 million dollars.

Bryant had 88 receptions for 1,320 yards with 16 touchdown catches during the 2014 season. Those 16 touchdowns were a career high for must caught in a single-season for Bryant.
