The five-star recruit out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin is headed to the University of Maryland, as 6’10 center Diamond Stone will now be a Maryland Terrapin, as Stone announced on his official Twitter page earlier today. Stone was listed the 7th best player in this year’s recruiting by ESPN, and also received interest from Connecticut and Oklahoma State, along with of course Maryland and Wisconsin.

The Terrapins could be a preseason top five heading into the college season next year, as their projected starting line-up will now include potentially;  Dion Wiley, Melo Trimble, Jake Layman, Robert Carter, and now Diamond Stone. They look like a Final Four team on paper, but depth is still a big question mark as of right now for the Terps.
