Duke’s Jayson Tatum to Make College Debut Today vs. Maine

Duke Blue Devils star freshman Jayston Tatum will make his long awaited season debut today versus the Maine Black Bears, according to a spokesperson from Duke University.

Tatum missed Duke’s first eight games this season due to a foot injury he suffered in October while practicing with the Blue Devils.

Blue Devils head coach Mike Krzyzewski also said on his pre-game show that freshman center Marques Bolden could also potentially return from injury.

The Blue Devils will now have a starting lineup that features seniors Amile Jefferson and Matt Jones, and junior guard Grayson Allen with freshman Harry Giles still sidelined with a knee injury.

Tatum, who was ranked as the 3rd best college basketball prospect by ESPN in the 2016 recruiting class, committed to Duke over Kentucky, North Carolina, and Saint Louis.
