Dwyane Wade out Indefinitely With Hamstring Strain

The Miami Heat could be without one of their main scorers for a few weeks. According to multiple reports, Dwyane Wade will miss 2-3 weeks with a hamstring injury that he suffered in the Heat’s 109-102 lost to the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday. Dwyane Wade was interviewed earlier Thursday about the Heat and his injury. He had the following to say.

“Where I stand right now? Frustrated. I know our fans are very frustrated. I just want them to know that they aren’t more frustrated than we are.”Because I want to be out there.”  “I won’t be seeing you for a little while.”

On the Heat injury report, Dwyane Wade is day-t0-day, but it’s looking more like weeks instead of days to this point. Miami Heat PF/C Chris Bosh had the following to say on Wade’s injury.

“It really sucks sometimes, but what can you do? We haven’t had our whole team. I just want to play with our whole team, just once. But it’s not going to be for (Friday), maybe not for the next couple weeks, but there’s nothing we can do about that.”

Both Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh were announced as all-star reserves today. The Heat also play their best when they both play. In the Heat’s next game Friday versus the Mavericks, they’ll be without Wade and Luol Deng.

The Heat are currently sitting at 20-25 on the 2014-2015 campaign as the 7th seed in the East. However, with Wade’s injury, the Brooklyn Nets, Charlotte Hornets, and Detroit Pistons could come in and beat up on the Heat’s 7th spot during Wade’s time out of action.
