The sixth man is a player who is always the first one to come off the bench and is also the bench player that gets the most minutes night in and night out. Having a good sixth man is crucial to a team’s success in most cases. Here’s a look at five players to keep your eye on for sixth man of the year in the 2015-2016 NBA season.
#5 Lance Stephenson, Los Angeles Clippers

Lance Stephenson may have had a dismal year in his one and only season with the Charlotte Hornets, but I see him bouncing back to the 2013-2014 Lance Stephenson he showed in his finally year with the Indiana Pacers. He will likely come off the bench as a back-up to newly acquired Paul Pierce and could provide some solid numbers to get him back on track and into the sixth man of the year award voting.
