Five Early Poential Sixth Man of the Year Candidates

Remember the panic attack that Raptors fans had last year because DeMar DeRozan went down with an injury earlier in the season? Lou Williams made up for the loss of the DeRozan greatly, as that’s why he won the sixth man of the year award. Now, backing up D’Angelo Russell, Jordan Clarkson, and Kobe Bryant in Los Angeles, I expect him to have similar success to which he had with the Raptors.

Note: Isaiah Thomas would’ve been on this list, but it’s still un-clear as to whether or not the Celtics will decide to start him or keep him on the bench. If they do bring him off the bench, expect him to contend for the award yet again just like he did last season.
