Despite the Heat trimming their roster down to to 14 with the trades of Shabazz Napier and Zoran Dragic and the waving on Henry Walker, the Miami Heat are still looking to deal point guard Mario Chalmers to free up salary for future signings come this Summer and next. Here are five point guards the Heat should consider signing if they do move Chalmers.
#5 Norris Cole
Last team: New Orleans Pelicans
Norris Cole was dealt by the Heat at the trading deadline during the 2014-2015 season as he was apart of the three-team trade that brought Goran Dragic to the Heat. Cole would be a familiar face with the Heat, and even though his 2014-2015 season didn’t go all that smooth, it might be best to consider a return for a guy that knows the organzation, and would more than willingly comeback.
