#3 Josh McRoberts, PF
I don’t care at this point, you just have to get SOMETHING out of Josh McRoberts. He is your highest paid bench player that was paid starter’s money, and his inability to stay healthy is really killing the Heat.
McRoberts’ job is to help the Heat spread the floor out to help their offense actually get out and move. The Heat have good cutters and run a very complex offense to try to make pieces work, and McRoberts was supposed to be a big part of that.
McRoberts is shooting 38% this year on 72 shots. He’s made only three three-pointers this season in 24 attempts, which is a 12% shooting mark from distance.
Him and Bosh have similar play styles, but of course Bosh is way better. McRoberts can handle the ball better than most big men, and this is his shot to grow into a role in South Beach.
