Contract: Five-year $70 million dollar deal with the Dallas Mavericks

Don’t get me wrong. Wesley Matthews is a great player. A great shooter, a great defender, and without a doubt one of the most underrated players in the NBA. The only reason I am questioning this move is due to injury. Matthews suffered a torn Achilles during the 2014-2015 season, and that is one of the toughest injuires in all of sports to come back from. Is it worth taking a $70 million dollar risk over? I don’t think so.
